BETHLEHEM, Pa.-- Jan. 14th, 2002 -- Synchronoss Technologies today announced that they have been named as a finalists in the Best New OSS Company category for the OSS World Excellence Awards. The awards are sponsored by Billing World and OSS Today magazine and recognize the best in the OSS telecommunications industry.

The finalists were selected by Billing World and OSS Today magazine editors and a panel of industry experts that include Sheridan Nye, Editor, OSSWatch, RHK Inc.; Peter Giglio, Vice President, Gerard Klauer Mattison (GKM); Rob Rich, Executive Vice President, The Yankee Group; Kornel Terplan, consultant and professor, Stevens Institute of Technology and Brooklyn Polytechnic University; and Edward J. Finegold, General Partner, Stylus Telecommunications LLC.

Today's news follows Synchronoss being named as one of the "Ten To Watch" in the December 17th issue of Telephony magazine. Synchronoss was recognized for its innovative business process outsourcing model that uses software as a service to quickly connect telecom carriers' enterprise customers to high-speed data networks.
