    Chief Legal Officer

    Christina serves as Chief Legal Officer of Synchronoss. She has been with Synchronoss since 2016, serving as the Chief Compliance Officer and Assistant General Counsel prior to assuming the role of total oversight of all corporate legal affairs for the company.

    Christina has significant experience in corporate governance, compliance, technology licensing and M&A. Prior to joining Synchronoss, she was with Openwave Messaging where she provided counsel on a broad spectrum of legal matters, including restructuring the commercial contracting process and documents, M&A and intellectual property. Christina also spent 6 years as a commercial litigation attorney at Blackmar, Principe and Schmelter, APC.

    She is a graduate of Cornell College with a B.A. in History, Philosophy and Communications. She achieved her J.D. at the University of Illinois, College of Law and received a LLM with Merit in International Commercial Law from the University of Nottingham.

    Head of Private Investments, B. Riley

    Martin “Marty” Bernstein was appointed to our board of directors in July 2021 and represents B. Riley Financial, Inc., the company’s largest shareholder. Marty brings extensive experience working with management teams and boards on capital allocation strategies, governance, financing, and operational turnarounds.

    Bernstein currently serves as Head of Private Investments with B. Riley Principal Investments, responsible for sourcing, underwriting and managing company investments in addition to leading distribution to the firm's syndication partners. He has led numerous investments across technology, transportation, automotive, aerospace, manufacturing, power, infrastructure, and other sectors.

    Prior to joining B. Riley in March 2021, Bernstein was with Anchorage Capital and led investments across capital structures, including public equities, private equity, performing credit, bank debt and distressed debt, and restructuring situations from the firm’s New York and London offices. He previously worked as an analyst at Bocage Capital, and was on the investment team for the endowment at Howard Hughes Medical Institute.

    Bernstein earned an AB in history from Dartmouth College. He is based in Connecticut.

    Jeff Miller was named President and Chief Executive Officer of Synchronoss Technologies in March 2020. Since that time, Jeff has focused on driving Synchronoss’ growth and profitability, through expansion of the Company’s Cloud business. Prior to this Jeff served as the company’s Chief Commercial Officer, with responsibility for all processes and strategies related to building profitable sales channels and accelerating revenue growth.

    Before Synchronoss, Jeff served as President for IDEAL Industries Technology Group, focusing on designing and delivering solutions for smart commercial buildings and spaces. IDEAL Industries is a century-old, professionally managed and family-owned business, based in the greater Chicagoland area.

    Jeff also enjoyed a 16-year career with Motorola, where he served in a number of senior leadership roles including Corporate Vice President and General Manager of Operations in North America for Motorola Mobility, LLC., Vice President of Sales for Motorola’s business with AT&T, T-Mobile, and 23-global wireless customers across North America, Latin America, EMEA and the Asia Pacific. Prior to Motorola, Jeff spent five years with Somera Communications, as the Executive Vice President of Sales & Marketing, and he worked for AT&T for eleven years, holding various leadership positions in Sales Management, Marketing and Product Management.

    Jeff serves on the Board of 1871, Chicago’s largest start-up incubator, and on the non-profit Boards of Aspire Chicago and Junior Achievement. Jeff graduated with a B.S. degree from Miami University and later earned his M.B.A. from The Ohio State University.

    He and his wife Susan have four children and reside in Chicago’s Lake View neighborhood.
