Kevin Rendino
Kevin Rendino was appointed to our Board of Directors in December 2023, bringing with him more than three decades of Wall Street experience and expertise in capital markets, value investing, and global equity markets.
Kevin presently serves as Portfolio Manager and CEO of 180 Degree Capital Corp., a publicly traded internally managed investment company focused on generating capital appreciation and current income from investments in what they believe are deeply undervalued, small publicly traded companies. For over twenty years, Mr. Rendino worked on one fund, Basic Value Fund, with a consistent Graham and Dodd focus, at the same firm, BlackRock/Merrill Lynch. He was the Value team leader, overseeing 11 funds and $13B in assets, a member of Blackrock’s Leadership Committee and a frequent contributor to CNBC, Bloomberg TV, Fox Business, The New York Times, and The Wall Street Journal. Today, Kevin demonstrates his passionate for applying his knowledge for investing to corporate boards to help drive business excellence. He shares our vision for Synchronoss as a Cloud-only business servicing Tier One global customers, focused on delivering increased value and profitability to our shareholders.
Kevin earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the Carroll School of Management at Boston College, where he graduated magna cum laude.
