March 29, 2006
Bridgewater, New Jersey, March 29, 2006 – Today, Synchronoss Technologies, Inc., a premier software-as-a-service provider for industry leaders in the communications market place, officially announced that John A. Morgan is the new VP of Product Management. Morgan brings more than 16 years of telecommunications experience to Synchronoss, having held previous executive positions with Level 3 Communications, GENUiTY, and Bell Atlantic Global Networks. His current responsibilities with Synchronoss include continually monitoring and modifying the elements of the marketing mix to ensure Synchronoss products and services profitably meet the needs of its customers.

“Having a knowledgeable industry veteran like John Morgan join our team speaks volumes for the success and speed with which Synchronoss is proving its business model,” said Stephen G. Waldis, CEO, Synchronoss Technologies, Inc. “John has been in the trenches with Level 3, GENUiTY, and Bell Atlantic as the lead on VoIP product development and network planning, so he knows firsthand that Synchronoss provides a unique solution that drives real revenue and significant cost savings to communications service providers and I am pleased that he wants to help drive further growth and expansion at Synchronoss.”

While Vice President, VoIP Development at Level 3 Communications, Morgan developed scalable back office system capabilities that supported Level 3's successful entry into the wholesale VOIP market. He led the implementation of Level 3's Local Number Portability platform, which was facilitated by Synchronoss, in twelve weeks. By driving average port intervals from 20 to nine days, Morgan and Synchronoss helped Level 3 lead the CLEC industry in average porting cycle times.

Prior to becoming a VP with Level 3, Morgan was Director of Integrated Network Planning with GENUiTY, which was acquired by Level 3. With GENUiTY, he recruited, organized and developed the company's first Network Planning organization. Before joining GENUiTY, Morgan was the Director of Network Planning with Bell Atlantic Global Networks.

John Morgan holds a Master of Science, Information and Telecommunications Systems from The Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Business Administration from The College of William and Mary.
