Synchronoss CEO Stephen G. Waldis Awarded the 2006 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year® in New Jersey

Award Recognizes Entrepreneurial Excellence in Information Technology & Software Category

Waldis, CEO and president, received the 2006 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year® Award in the Information Technology & Software category in New Jersey. According to Ernst & Young, the award recognizes outstanding entrepreneurs who are building and leading dynamic and growing businesses. Waldis was selected by an independent panel of judges composed of area leaders from business, academic, and civic organizations.

With this award, Stephen Waldis, who founded Synchronoss Technologies in 2000 to create a technology that would effectively and quickly connect enterprises to the network, is now a three-time regional Ernst &Young Entrepreneur of the Year award winner. Winning once for Vertek, in NJ and twice for Synchronoss Technologies, Inc., in NJ and the Greater Philadelphia, Eastern PA region, a feat that no other entrepreneur in the Ernst &Young list of New Jersey regional finalists has accomplished. The overall national Entrepreneur Of The Year award recipient is then considered for the world event held in Monte Carlo.
