Bridgewater, New Jersey (November 4, 2005) – Synchronoss Technologies, Inc. (www.synchronoss.com) announced that Bill Cadogan will join its Board of Directors effective immediately. Cadogan has spent his entire career in telecommunications, starting with AT&T and ultimately as Chairman and CEO of Minnesota-based ADC, Inc., a leading global supplier of communications infrastructure products and services, that grew under his leadership from $263 million in revenue in 1990 to approximately $3.2 billion in 2000. Since retiring from ADC, , Cadogan has been a Venture Partner with Vesbridge Partners, the former Networking and IT team of St. Paul Venture Capital.

At Vesbridge, Cadogan focuses primarily on emerging opportunities in the communications sector, which in part led him to Synchronoss. “I have always been optimistic about telecommunications, even during the recent down years, because I know that there are companies with the right vision and right technology to evolve the industry in new and better directions – Synchronoss is one such company,” said Cadogan. “I have watched Synchronoss grow quickly and smartly since 2000 and am pleased to have the opportunity to serve on its board and help shape the future of a company that is helping to shape the future of telecommunications.”

Before joining ADC in 1987, Cadogan was General Manager of Business Development at the International Telecommunications Satellite Organization (Intelsat) in Washington, D.C. He holds a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from Northeastern University, Boston, Massachusetts, and an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. He is also a member of the Telecommunications Industry Association and served as the association's chairman.

“Bill Cadogan's knowledge and experience in telecommunications operations and venture funding will infuse our board with the expertise and insight it needs as Synchronoss continues its aggressive growth plans in 2006 and beyond,” said Stephen G. Waldis, CEO, Synchronoss Technologies, Inc.
